Very rare Longines-Wittnauer Weems Silver case watch. Ex Japanese Navy WWII. Features rotating central dial with tobacco patina, controlled by crown at 4 o'clock. This was used to synchronise with radio time signals for navigational alignment.
Beautiful blued steel Breguet hands on an outer porcelain dial with Arabic numerals. "Louis XV" onion shaped winding crown. Hinged case back, plexi glass.
Historic and leading watchmaking design of its day!
